School captains
Each year we have 6 school captains. All school captains would be required to fill duties such as: Speaking at parades, welcoming and thanking guest speakers, representing our school at official functions, attend meetings etc. School captains are allocated to one of the following roles: school captain (learning), school captain (student support), school captain (events), school captain (ICT), school captain (earth smart), school captain (recreation). Nominations for school captain occur at the start of each school year. Students must be on platinum behaviour level to be eligible for a school captain position.
Sports captains
Each sport house elects a house captain and vice house captain. Nominations for sports captains occur at the start of each school year. Students must be on platinum or gold behaviour level to be eligible for a sport captain position.
Earlyact committee
Year 5 students are invited to hold executive positions – president, vice president, treasurers, secretary. The members of the Earlyact committee are made up of the six school captains and members of the Gympie rotary club.
